About this app

Metronome for musicians who want perfect rhythm. 🎵

Camtronome is a powerful metronome and BPM counter designed to improve rhythm, timing and tempo accuracy. The app combines a precise digital metronome with video recording, advanced tempo control, and smart practise tools that help musicians practise more effectively.

Whether you are practising at home, rehearsing with your band, recording in the studio, or preparing for a live performance, Camtronome helps you stay perfectly in time.

🎼 Accurate Metronome for Music Practise

Practising with a reliable metronome is one of the best ways to develop strong rhythm and tempo control. Camtronome delivers a clean, steady click that helps musicians keep a consistent beat and musical pulse.

With flexible tempo settings and a convenient TAP Tempo function, you can quickly set BPM and adjust the metronome to match any song, exercise or rhythm pattern. This makes Camtronome a practical tempo app and bpm counter for everyday music practise.

📹 Record Your Practise Sessions

One of the most unique features of Camtronome is the ability to record video while playing with the metronome.

Using your phone camera, you can easily record your practise sessions and review them afterwards. Watching your performance helps you analyse rhythm, detect timing mistakes, and improve musical precision.

This simple but powerful feature allows musicians to develop a stronger sense of rhythm, beat, and pulse, making practise sessions more effective and focused.

⚡ Flexible Tempo and Rhythm Tools

Camtronome offers advanced tempo control designed for serious music practise. The metronome can automatically change tempo, rhythm, or time signature during playback, which allows you to create complex practice patterns and training routines.

You can also slow down or speed up audio tracks and metronome playback. This is especially useful when learning difficult passages or working on rhythm accuracy.

I am a very organic artist, I play acoustic guitar and I sing. I'm sure this app offers a lot to people who want the new sounds of the CG. However, I am looking for organic simple sounds, Like the sound of a tapping foot. ie, Paul mccartney, mother nature's son, Blackbird, etc. Any other acoustic guitar player singers looking for the same thing i'm looking for?

Please note this is metronome app, not a sound rendering engine. Although we do have 47 different metronome sounds, some of which might be what you are looking for. Please go to settings -> metronome sounds and browse all 47 different sounds our app offers. Also, please revise your rating as your one hurts us badly and doesn't cover app's purpose

This app would be perfect if there was an option to sync the start of the metronome to the record function. In other words, when one were to press record is when the metronome would begin. I wanted to use this for making music videos, and connecting the metronome to the record function would make it much eaiser to sync up the different tracks for once I start editing. Great idea for an app, nonetheless.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, the feature you describe was subject of our goal to add, but - for purely technical reasons - this is not possible. Every device has its recording lag which is impossible to measure and therefore - it is impossible to synchronize metronome with recording start. That's why we have never added this feature 😊

This is an excellent app. The ability to tap a tempo to measure it is excellent. I also love the practice mode option like mute for x bars every y measures. Want would be even better is if it would measure your tempo (e.g. on the drums) especially during the mute period. I'm guessing this could be done with a Fourier transform? Also, if in practice mode you could toggle the tap button so it only measures tempo and doesn't change the tempo to practice staying in time without an instrument.

Thank you for your kind review 😍. We also value your feedback, but we do not plan to add any features that would measure your playing accuracy for now 🙁.
