Hangman app is a 100% FREE classic hidden words guessing game. It is a result of a great game craft. This game may be a great help for adults and kids in learning languages. If you want to practice language skills and learn new words it is highly recommended.

In the game there is broad choice of categories with hand crafted vocabulary. Also, it may come in handy when learning geography or history, as there are relevant words to guess, too.
This game is suitable both for tablets and phones and generally should flawlessly even on older devices.

The hangman game is also known as "hanged", or "gallows".

HOW DOES Hangman Game WORK?
At first launch choose the country or language. Then, from a start menu, proceed directly to the game, or choose a category of words to guess.
Then you will be presented with a screen with a series of "dashes". Each dash represents a letter. Use the on screen keyboard to guess a letter. If your choice is correct, the letter will appear. In fact all letters will be displayed if they occur more than once in the word.
In case of incorrect choice a part of the hangman drawing will be displayed. At first, the bars, then the rope, and finally head, torso, hands and legs. When they are all drawn, this means that the game was lost and the correct word was not guessed.

You may keep track of your progress with a counter of lost and won games. You may reset the counter if you wish.

This hangman game features multiple languages, like: English, French, Italian, German, Swedish, Finnish and many more. The languages are country oriented. For instance a "presidents of the USA" or "states of the US" is of course in the US categories, whereas "Shakespeare's plays" are in UK categories.

Ratings and reviews

Very nice app to play hangman. Categories are good and the chalk and board theme gives a very nice look. But sometimes it gets too hard. I think there should be levels based on difficulty and a gradual progression.

The number of ads is unbelievable! Not 1, not 2, but I had to wait for 3 ads to finish between levels to proceed! Even though the game is decent, your revenue model needs to be relooked.

I liked the unusual challenges like "countries of the world" but to be presented with an unstoppable thirty second and after guessing "Mali" in four steps was too much.
