About this app

The main purpose of the e-Tourist application is to facilitate planning and carrying out trips, excursions, as well as sports and recreational activities.

The e-Tourist application allows users to use an interactive map covering the area of ​​the Opole province and the Olomouc region with marked attractions divided into categories. After clicking on a given location, the user will obtain more information about the place (attraction) - description, history, interesting facts, prices, multimedia (e.g. promotional films), trails and other useful information for tourists.

The e-Tourist application will allow tourists to plan a sightseeing route based on the information provided. They will also be able to mark the places they want to visit. In turn, by choosing one of the routes, they will be able to use it offline or online on their smartphone and start a tourist activity according to their own preferences.

The Mobile Guide to the Opole Region and Olomouc Region (e-Tourist) project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund and the Opole Region budget within the INTERREG V-A Czech Republic – Poland Programme. The project is implemented by the Opole Region, in partnership with the Olomouc Region, Jeseníky - Sdružení cestovního ruch and Střední Morava - Sdružení cestovního ruch.
