Aneska is a simple Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP) client for Android.
CoAP is a one of the most promising protocols for Internet of Things (IoT). It is intended to be used in simple electronics devices and allows them to communicate over the Internet. CoAP is RESTful, has low overhead, and is being developed by IETF
- CoAP (draft-ietf-core-coap-18)
- blockwise transfers
- process link-format (RFC 6690)
- IPv4/IPv6 double stack operation (Happy Eyeballs)
Aneska was written entirely in Python, using Twisted framework (http://twistedmatrix.com/) for communications, and Kivy framework (http://kivy.org/) for UI.
