The application contains a map with marked locations Social Refrigerators of the Zazpomóż.pl Foundation. It conveniently allows you to locate the nearest fridge and, for example, determine the route to it. In addition - for people / institutions who want to join the campaign of putting Social Refrigerators - allows quick access to necessary information - the so-called "Start-pack."
The idea of Social Refrigerators arose in response to gigantic amounts of wasted food. In Poland alone, it is about 9 million tons of wasted food per year.
The idea is very simple: you have too much food, put them in the fridge, you need food - get them out of the fridge.
It is important that refrigerators stand in public places (usually on the streets, next to the buildings of shops, institutions, etc.) so that anyone in need can use them at any time.
