About this app
The Rotas de Mação app was developed by the Municipality of Mação, with the aim of promoting Nature Tourism in the region, through the creation of a network of walking routes in the territory.
Discover the Routes of Mação through the guidance and navigation app, equipped with an innovative security system. Rescue beacons, or check points by land and air, have been installed along the various routes, identified with a number that allows aid agencies to easily locate people asking for help.
The app is intended to be used on site, being equipped with a tracking and check-in system, for the safety of users. It has detailed information of the routes, with indication of points of interest to visit nearby, alerts and check points, with visualization on a map.
