What are the requirements?
- Be a NOS customer with eligible packages: Apple TV Box, UMA, Iris and Satellite with TV.
- Compatible with Android 8.0 and higher versions for smartphones and tablets. Not compatible with other Android devices.
- The NOS TV app is available in mainland Portugal, Azores, Madeira and also in European Union countries, where customers are temporarily located.

Ratings and reviews

It used to work in the past. Now the phone app just freezes after a few seconds. I have to listen on audio only. Edit: I followed the advice below, and even reinstalled the app, but still have the same problem. I have contacted NOS on messenger as requested. After six hours of really basic questions, they told me the problem is with my phone not the app! My phone is fine, pretty new, with the most up to date version of Android. There is some bug with the app.

Great app. It shows the channel list with the live content; if you selecth a channel it shows the content of each day; and selecting a program shows the description, trailer, button to "watch now" and a button to record. Under your profile, you can easily find the program you were watching and continue to see, the list of programs already recorded and another list of future recordings. While watching a non live program, you can go back and forth in increments of 10s. Suggestion: add a 30s button

The application goal (TV anyplace, anytime) is great but some compatibility problems need to be addressed. From my experience the service works in a browser (Windows 10) and in the Android 9 application, but recurrently crashes in Android 10. Moreover, the interface in Android 10 is similar to the one presented when accessing the service through a browser (nostv.pt) in Windows 10 (low-code?). In Android 10 a crash occurs recurrently if, when starting the application, something is pressed/selected in the application before the channel video/list is completely loaded (which takes about 20-30s). Other streaming applications (e.g. Netflix, HBO, Curiosity Stream) work without any problem in this Android version.
