Switched from "Reddit is Fun" and Bought Pro Immediately I never thought I'd get rid of RiF since it's done everything I needed, but my first impressions with Relay were good. The UI is nice and sleek, makes reading posts easy on the eyes and allows for more "effeciency" with the colored lines leading from replies. Functionality wise, it allows for better navigation and is easy for one-handed use. My only gripe is the lack of the ability to alter user settings such as hiding liked/disliked posts; I need to change them on Reddit itself instead.
Fantastic - supported for years Hands down the best Android reddit app. This app blows the official app out of the water. As a moderator, my only complaint is that the app doesn't handle the new mod mail system yet. Granted, Relay is much easier to use and makes more sense than the new mod mail, so it's not a big deal.
UI is really nice. Bugs need to be addressed. Many commenters including myself have the issue of having to force close the app everytime you come back to it. Sometimes without even leaving the app it will stop loading. I want to use this app over rif but I can't keep closing it and reopening, it's driving me insane. I paid for this.. it would be nice if the devs addressed these issues. Even some feedback would be great.
10/10 would reccomend. It's pretty good! It was recommended to me while i was mad about clicking a link, bit the bullet and bought pro because why not without ever trying it and I cant complain. Learning how to use it takes a little but you figure it all out. They do a good job giving prompts for things and giving a small tutorial but just look around and you'll get it. From official app to this it is a million times more efficient and better. I had caching errors on rmobile and this has fixed my woes.
Had to uninstall after paying for it This app doesn't provide features for moderators. Specifically it does not support the new modmail functions. If you get an alert on an individual within a thread it will let you ban the person who made the submitter of the thread but not the troublemaker in the comments. It is completely useless to me and I regret purchasing it.
Much better than the Reddit official app. I used to use Baconreader Premium since the official Reddit app is not very good. When Baconreader started being too slow I looked for replacement options. Relay is the fastest at loading gifs and images of any Reddit browsing app I've used. Also I love the material design, very slick.
