PERFECT.. but.. So.. why the 4 stars? Themes.. colors.. this app is all you'll need IR-remotes-wise.. more Themes and perfected stable widgets would make all others obselete.. not to mention a lock screen functionality that's very useful when it comes to remotes. Having said that I did buy the full version for the simple reason that it works.. at least for me.. for everything from Air Conditioners to Sat Box, home theater & TV.. good product.. could be great.. rendering other apps useless.(Note 4)
Best of a bad lot I picked this IR remote app for my Samsung Note 4 mostly because it was only one of two apps that supported my Bell/Motorola VIP2262 IPTV set top box, as well as my Samsung TV and Vizio soundbar. It works, more or less - but after it's been running a while, I inevitably see a "Unfortunately ZappIR Pro has closed" message. This is on my Note 4 running KitKat 4.4.4. I do think most of the apps in this category, including this one, are overpriced. $7 US is too much to pay for an app that is less than fully stable, and that, as I've found, doesn't support the Rogers/Scientific Atlanta 4250HD cable set top box. This developer has some work to do to get his app stable, and needs to work on improving device support. That would earn him a couple more stars. For now, this app is worth three stars at best. Edit: (3/25/15). After updates earlier this month, the frequency of the "Unfortunately ZapIR has closed" messages has decreased, although they still happen occasionally. One more star, to 4 total, seems appropriate.
Revised review A little glitchy, but tech support super helpful and quick to respond. Love the app otherwise.

Asks what type of device... ...but doesn't give you any options for as device.
Probably the best ir blaster app. Can even control the LED tape lights from Caldwell Electronics.
