About this app

Turn your Android head unit (FYT/SYU) or phone into an authentic F-16 multifunction display: a live car HUD with
aviation gauges rendered over your real OBD2 data — RPM, speed, boost, coolant, attitude, GPS track and weather — plus
an optional CAMERA HUD OVERLAY for true augmented-reality driving.

See the road through your camera with F-16 instruments rendered on top in real time. True AR cockpit. Press SCR to

Live aviation weather fetched on GPS fix: decoded METAR with flight category (VFR/MVFR/IFR/LIFR),
wind/visibility/clouds explained in plain English, TAF 12-hour trends, plus hour-by-hour local forecast. Tap any card
for the full encyclopedic view.

═ GPS-DERIVED ATTITUDE (KEY FOR HEAD UNITS)
Most head units have no accelerometer. F16 Edition computes pitch and bank from GPS alone — real horizon on any HU
with GPS, no extra hardware.

═ OBD-II / OBD2 DIAGNOSTICS (ELM327)
• Bluetooth or USB adapters, direct MAC pairing built in
• Live PIDs: RPM, coolant, intake, MAP/MAF, fuel level & trims, O2, catalyst, oil temp, battery
• DTC trouble codes: read stored & pending, 2000+ plain-text descriptions, one tap to the Ross-Tech wiki, clear codes
• Engine-aware battery alerts, warnings wired into Master Caution

═ MAINTENANCE LOG
Track service items (oil, inspection, brakes…) with date/km due warnings surfaced as a CAS alert. Auto-fills current
odometer from CAN. Optional sync to your own server.

═ CAN BUS (FYT/SYU HEAD UNITS)
Read-only access to the infotainment CAN: steering angle, doors, outside temperature, battery voltage, park lights,
~190 decoded codes (odometer, fuel, gear…). Never writes to the bus.
Optional ergCAN ESP32 module (auto-discovered over WiFi): listen-only drivetrain CAN tap, BMP280 barometric altimeter
with QNH auto-calibration, IMU for high-fidelity attitude.

Plug-and-play USB receivers (CH341): live pressure and temperature for all 4 tires.

═ IOT / HOME ASSISTANT (BYOS)
Publish snapshots and driving events (hard braking, cornering, overspeed, cold start…) via MQTT to YOUR OWN broker —
with Home Assistant auto-discovery. Offline ring buffer included.

Android 7.0+. OBD2 features need an ELM327 adapter (any car 1996+). CAN features need an FYT/SYU Android head unit.
TPMS receiver, ergCAN ESP32 and GPS optional.
