The app was developed for Android smartphones starting version 4.0. It is designed with standard Android navigation patterns to allow a quick start. The discreet design supports the user in his actions.
From a technical perspective, great value was placed on simplicity, loosely coupled modules and standards-compliant implementation. Thus arose a serviceable piece of software, from the other releases may occur in the near future.

is a simple WebView app that can display different maps and your current position.
Created primarily to illustrate the OpenCycleMap.
These maps are supported:
· Google Maps
It displays your current position.
There are three settings:
- Compass Gray: Your position is displayed, but the map does not centered on it
- Compass Blue: The map is always on your current position
- Compass Green: The position marker indicates the direction in which you actually look
The button 'compass' is quite small in the middle bottom of the screen.
In addition, the button with the arrow up, opens the card selection menu.
A rotating card is not supported in WebViews, but the position marker rotates in the direction in which you just hold your phone.
There is NO OFFLINE mode available, not now and not in future.
The app is without advertising!
I am really surprised about peaple rating this app with 2 or 1 star but not letting me know whats wrong!?
So if you think this app is horrible so be so kind and let me know why!

The 3D maps are rendered in OpenGL by combining map tiles from various sources with elevation data.
Do not expect too much from this app since I'm developing it in my free time. The user interface is poor and simplistic.
