Identity - Star Taxi app needs some personal data to be able to identify the user. Personal data refers to: name, e-mail address, phone number, profile photo, etc.

Location / Wi-Fi connection information - Star Taxi app accesses location data, which is needed to: locate the taxi drivers in the area; setting the address where the taxi order is placed; the actual placement of the taxi order etc.

Overall, I've had a good experience using this app. The only thing I would like would be the ability to pin my destination on a map. BUT.... today a driver straight up told be he is going to block me because I pay by card (in Bucharest). I've heard this sentiment before, the drivers don't like to be paid by card presumably because the money gets to them late. Not my fault, not my business. I would like to continue using this app, hopefully this won't happen again.

2nd time in 3 minutes I found a taxi and after 10 seconds "the time has expired" or something like that. EDIT: I was contacted by them on the phone. I might have done something wrong. Will update the review next time when using the app.

Very useful app with local taxi's . No more overchargin from Uber with dynamic rating on my wallet. You can see the taxi meeter when you want you can stop or continue wherever you like no extra fees for that. Pay with cash if Credit card at the end or in the app. It your choice .
