One of the better ones but still not there Switched from a Windows phone to Android and still cannot find a good app where it reads my texts and gives me the option to read it, ignore it, respond. This app almost had me purchase the full app but would be very difficult to use bc it wouldn't detect me yelling yes or no to reply to a text. Also, when I had multiple texts come in, only the first would be read. Every text after would only give me the option to respond, without even knowing the context of the texts. I was so excited but oh well.....
Fix bugs and customer service The app has the potential to be great for hands free texting. Unfortunately the app is malfunctioning with the Android system, especially if a Bluetooth is connected. Have emailed several times about bugs. Customer service does not reply. Instead you receive a canned auto reply. With no more communication from them. Hopefully the manufacturer will decide to fix issues and quality of customer service.
Tried loads of apps and this one is spot on. Will get my money. Only issue is the reply function. I have a plantronics legend and it struggles to respond to my "yes" when asked to reply. Will try bluetooth setting in profile but since my headset is top grade I am concerned. So far only managed to reply twice with success. It would be a good idea if the prompt to reply said something like: Say 'Yes' to reply or 'No' to ignore after 'Beep'. If in fact one needs to wait for the beep first. I cant work out if I should or not.
ReadItToMe is probably the single-most important productivity app on my phone. I spend much of each day wearing gloves or wandering 10-20ft away from my phone. The app's ability to announce incoming calls, read incoming text messages, calendar event reminders, UPS/Fedex delivery notices, etc is invaluable. Instead of halting my productivity to "look" at my phone my device communicates with me like an assistant. This truly changes and vastly improves the phone's functionality and correspondingly my productivity. (How do you know when an app has become indispensable? I recently lost my bluetooth headset and for one day lived without ReadItToMe. I grimaced every time my phone made a noise because I had to stop and walk over to it (or take it out of my pocket) to assess the notification.) Buy the pro version. It's worth 10x what it costs.
Great app This is one of the few apps that I ve purchased from play store and I ve been enjoying this app ever since. Perfect app when you are plugged in and driving and dont want to miss anything important. There is a small problem lately when answering calls which I hope to get fixed sooner.
My old phone broke. Since my old phone kicked the bucket and I paid for it on that phone, it wouldn't let me transfer the paid account to the new phone. It took a couple days to finally realize I paid for the unlock prior, but it finally did.
