Nice app to compress audio I had a lot of wav files taking up space on my phone from audio recording apps and I needed to free space on my phone but didn't want to delete my files. I also wanted to upload to soundcloud. So compressing my wav files was crucial and I also needed an app with a small footprint so I wouldn't just be replacing all that disk space with a large app. This app fit the ticket; it compresses audio and is not very large. The ability to also trim the audio file is very useful as well.
Outstanding! I'm so glad I ignored the recent reviews. Converted wav to mp3, trimmed & converted to ring tone without a hitch. Well, almost- it does crash a lot but its still a powerful app. Just run it under a lean memory environment.
Does what it says Pro: converts audio or even video to the available export formats. If this is what you're after then you are in luck. Cons: interface is clunky. Visualizing the audio waves takes away too much screen estate. User interface is baffling e.g. I just want to move the start mark but the end mark also moves(?). Audio leveling should also be a basic feature.
Awesome For those of you that can't access files on your external SD or anywhere else, download FX file manager by Nextapp on playstation. You can see all your files including system files. You can copy, paste, cut, move, send, archive your files in zip format, extract zipped files, edit files, delete, view your pics or play video from inside the file manager, and lots more. It's a must have for all Androids. If your rooted you can do a lot more. The bad comments are from those who have no clue what their doing.
SCAM alert Apps like this do NOT need to read sensitive log data. Period! Any app that does is spying on you. It's as simple as that. Their "excuse" so they can send a crash report is nonsense. Their app should be writing this to it's own area to send through something meaningful. System logs record EVERYTHING your device does. Giving access to this info is giving hackers access to your device. You have been warned!
Kind of buggy / crappy Go find your audio file. Check it. Click Edit. Get presented with a completely different screen to refind your audio files... where the items are ordered differently (and it doesn't even look like the same app...) Click play, it asks you to pick *another* app to play the file (itself is not listed...) when editing and saving, text does not scroll to the right... In landscape mode the tutorials are so tiny you can't see them, also no way to zoom... Baffling user interface to say the least...
