Ratings and reviews

By far one of the better apps out here for dictation. It does have an annoying way of stopping every time it hears a pause. Just because I pause doesn't mean the app should pause. And such a notable pause where it misses words. Correcting the dictated speech is an issue as well. I would like to dictate and edit at the same time if possible.

Of all the live translation apps, this is the best app (tested for German). Based on the current design, this app is really professionally done and functional. It also allows you to listen to the translation and plays it back in real time speed. I used to use iTranslate but then they started charging a monthly fee billed annually. I'm ok with buying apps, not paying monthly fees. AMAZING 😘

I find that when dictating into an app, one has to speak clearly and precisely, just as when dictating to a person. Don't mumble and waffle then wonder why an app doesn't understand you. (Or why your sentences are a mile long and poorly punctuated.) E-dictate does what it claims to do, and I find it comes in useful for preparing presentation scripts. Or simply to give me a break from typing into a smartphone screen. I am slightly visually impaired, so appreciate an alternative way of writing.
