CROC Office application showcases features of positioning modules built-in on almost any up-to-date mobile phone, by the example of a demo zone on the second floor of CROC's central office. Room navigation is based on a network of immovable beacons transmitting low energy Bluetooth signals. CROC Office application determines user phone location inside the building in real time by evaluating the power of these signals using trilateration algorithm and other available data sources such as readings of built-in accelerometer.
Main rooms accessible to visitors are indicated on a floor layout diagram. A route from current user's phone position to any such locations can be built.
