Love it! I love that my tasks show up the next day of I don't complete them and I love being able to see it on my phone and tablet!
Beware Downloaded app and was dissatisfied of the 1000+ Facebook birthdays consuming calendar. Synchronized my main Google calender with app, presto all future scheduled appointments disappeared, unretrievable. Commitments will be confused, and I dissappointed when my scheduled appointments are not met. Uninstalled immediately. Beware!
Nice calendar, but... I am debating this one and two others. $3.50 in the scheme of things is not a lot of money and maybe it's just me, but I think it should be a little more feature rich if there is a charge for the full version. Customization is bare minimum and I am not a fan of the monthly view which is something the other two apps I am considering is strong. For the trial it's very nice, but for paid? Not sure, but in two weeks remaining on evaluation, I will have to figure it out...the weak month view really bugs me.
So good so far! Loving this app so far. I have a hectic schedule that changes daily! Love the subtask feature to remind me of things to do /take along with that task! Genius! Not 5 stars yet though. Wish you could remove the date from the top of the widgets, add auto fit font for calendar items, have another option to remove the time completely on the calendars and a more attractive day view! Seems like alot but if suggestions but honestly. I'm quite happy with what you've done so far! Great job!
I have reviewed several tasks apps and have done quite a bit of testing. Day by Day functions well and is intuitive. I would give it four stars except for some missing features and for the way it stores subtasks in Google. 1) Need repeat with "first Sunday of every month" 2) Be able to edit a task from the monthly calendar view - directly by press/hold or something 3) Recognize Google tasks subtasks The app uses the description field to store subtasks ( subtask 1, etc). If I were to use this app, I would have to convert all my existing subtasks, a real pain. I like to edit tasks in Google tasks and it is very easy to quickly add many subtasks, and you can paste subtasks easily. I wanted to switch to this app, from Ultimate TODO List, but this is a deal breaker for me. Ultimate TODO List is a bit clunky but it does an excellent job of handling Google's subtasks. It does use the description field for extended unsupported task info (like repeating, reminders, etc). It buries the data deep into the description so if you want to use the description, you can and you won't generally see the UTD data unless you scroll down. I wish Google would provide some hidden field for this.
Just spent two days Trying every calender, to do, and habit app on the market. None of the better known ones did what I needed! Integrated cal & tasks, sub-tasks, all visible and tickable IN THE WIDGET!, syncs effortlessly with Google calendar and tasks. You guys are awesome! Thank you for a great product! I will be upgrading to keep the great premium benefits I am previewing in the free trial.
