Towers are stored in Database.
See Cell IDs, Signal Strength and GPS location.

Please note:
In most cases precision of estimated cell position is better for sites with 3 cells detected. If you see only one cell, this is not cell position, this is cell serving area center.

What the hell? First half of the day, app worked perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for. Then out of nowhere it just stopped working. Would only show my location but no cell locations. I changed settings, cleared data and cache, and even reinstalled. Made no difference. Makes no sense at all. Very disappointing.

This app made it so easy for me to point an external cell phone pickup antenna. It gave me the direct bearing in degrees on the compass. My antenna was 5 degrees off. When I made the adjustment there were some notable improvements seen. First a benchmark website loaded up significantly faster. Then a number of files queued up in Microsoft OneDrive which didn't upload all night uploaded in less than 15 minutes. There were a number of other improvements I saw as well.

As I use a 5G router for broadband. This is a handy tool, I like its simplicity, I don't need too much information other than telling me which cell I'm connected to on a map. its a big help in positioning my antenna. It's clever & does everything I need. Highly recommended. However, I haven't found a way to pay for it & remove the very small advert at the bottom of the screen! That would be perfect! Thanks!
