Great so far! I couldn't believe I was able to load up Killing Time with no problems! I miss my 3DO and this seems to work great on my Galaxy S6 Active. Please read the prompts before trying a game. It seems the low ratings are mostly people who did not follow the directions regarding permissions and the BIOS/ROM locations. Thanks dev and I am looking forward to updates ans telling friends to purchase!
Pretty daring, making a 3DO emulator for the Android! It's not like there's an overabundance of those on the PC, let alone smartphones. Anyway, this is a decent effort that could stand some improvement. Both the BIOS and the games have to be dumped together in the same directory... you can't organize them into separate folders. The games run at inconsistent speeds... sometimes it's 100%, and sometimes it's less. Finally, there could be more options available to the user. Past that, it's a pretty good way to check out the short-lived multimedia era of gaming, from 1992-1996.
Can't Load an ISO Confused - I put a BIOS and an ISO in the same directory, select it, but then nothing appears as selectable in the user interface. Can I get some instruction on how to make this work?
This emulator works perfectly! Thank you so much. I can't recommend this enough. I am able to live my childhood over again on my phone, my tablet, my android TV...EVERYWHERE! Every single game I have tried works perfectly.
I wasent expecting to see 3DO emulation anytime soon and working so well too. Couple of glitches on some games, Casper seems to run fast then slow. Very happy though. Maybe we might see Jaguar emulation as good as this one day!
It seems to work very well, and I'm happy enough with it, although every time I end the emulator, I lose any save games. I've tried setting different save directories, making sure storage permissions are granted, but, while saves appear on the list of save games as long as I stay in the game, as soon as I end the emulator and come back in, the 3DO memory unit is blank, all save games gone. If there were some sort of documentation telling me how to fix this, that would be a plus, but, it was still worth $4.
- Up to Phoenix Core 2.8.1 (much more accurate emulation)
- CEL in separate thread (one more option for weak CPU)
- Ability to remove save states
- GUI improvements
