Ratings and reviews

Don't know the difference between this and other Yandex map app. Cannot find many addresses. Gets the name of the Gulf of Mexico right! Updating to 4 stars since they're trying their best to help me add things to the map. It's not perfect, but it's honest work. Had to delete a bit of the review to fit this in, but edit history is on.

Not user friendly. It often doesn't recognize the addresses I'm putting in and it doesn't allow me to look at the whole route at once. It has public transit and walking options, which is nice, but it's impossible for me to say how well they work, because I can't navigate the app. EDIT 2: READ REVIEWS BEFORE RESPONDING TO THEM. The issue is not with the walking and transit routes! It is with the fact that it doesn't recognize addresses I put in! I already deleted the app! 3 star review down to 1!

Whenever I try to get directions the app will immediately start to freeze. how can't it do its most basic function? the only reason to use this over Google maps is if Yandex has a monopoly over a city's transit data like Almaty. I've also noticed that every restaurant is maybe 1 star higher than it should be. I can't tell you how many "4.9 star" restaurants with thousands of reviews there are on this app when on Google maps they're like 3.4. Really odd.
