MyGävle is a research app created to measure how everyday urban experiences affect people’s health and wellbeing.
MyGävle shows you where you have been in the last seven days to help you recall good and bad experiences that you have recently had. When you report an experience, we ask you how it affected your individual health and wellbeing, your relationship with people, and your relationship with nature.
Once you start reporting experiences you will be able to access summaries about your experiences, see the most liked and disliked places in your city, and participate in lottery extractions that are linked to the research project.
MyGävle is part of a research project from Högskolan i Gävle (HIG) that aims at creating knowledge for urban solutions that simultaneously promote individual, social, and ecological health. The research project is a collaboration between Högskolan I Gävle, Future Position X, and it is financed by Vinnova. The research project and MyGävle are specifically designed for people living in Gävle (Sweden). Participation in the research project is voluntary, the data provided by participants is kept encrypted, private, and confidential at HIG servers. More information about the research project can be found here: https://fpx.se/en/big-project-eng/
MyGävle integrates with Garmin Connect, Activity tracking, and GPS locations to accurately understand which geographical conditions best improve of worsen people’s health and wellbeing.
