About this app

SMHI's app shows weather forecasts for a large number of locations, both in Sweden and abroad, as well as warnings when serious weather and water events are forecast.
The app contains push notifications for alerts, zoomable maps and widgets for a quick overview. You can search and save several favorite places, but also choose to let the app follow your position so that you always get the weather forecast for the place where you are.

With SMHI's app you get:
• Ten-day forecasts for localities
+ In tabular form with weather symbols
+ In diagram form
• Text forecast
+ The meteorologist's comment on the weather
The weather for the last 24 hours
• Zoomable weather maps showing:
+ Observed precipitation from radar and precipitation forecast
+ Detailed rainfall from radar that is updated every five minutes
+ Detailed wind forecast for the whole of the Nordic region
• "Feels like" temperature, which is temperature in combination with wind
