It crashes every single time when I attempt to use the same photo from my gallery on two different posts in a row. Very aggrevating. Do the devs even read these reviews?
Whisper has pretty much become a cesspool of up-and-coming sex offenders looking for a cheap thrill. You have grown men prowling for underage girls and girls who are "mature for their age" looking for a relationship with older men. No matter how many times you report or flag the posts, Whisper administrators continue to allow the behavior to continue. The app is crawling with bullies and trolls, too, and administrators do nothing about that either.
It lets you express yourself freely, because in today's society you have to be politically correct. You can't step on no ones toes, even if they deserve it. This just lets you have good convo without judgement or consequences.
Every single whisper I try to post is taken down immediately. Like the second I hit post it shows up in the feed for a second and then is just gone. Yes, the whispers are appropriate. Talk about frustrating and ridiculously annoying.
Whisper manipulates the number of "hearts" a post receives, creating the false impression the post is popular amongst users. It also uses censorship - will delete a post without explanation. It encourages users to rate and report on one another. Yet also supplies disturbing images such as graphic scenes of suicide. I urge you to boycott this and similar apps. They are dishonest, intentionally misleading their users to create a false sense of reality. We don't need this in our lives.
This app isn't very useful at all. It's just basically a lot of people posting and getting no replies. There appears to be little to no interactions. I looked at posts from people in my area and they were inactive posts from months ago with no likes or comments. You have a 200 character limit. So what you post won't be able to be specific. On top of that it constantly crashes and this is the only app I have that crashes. Is there an alternative to this app? Yes, I use an app called Candid and it is by far more superior to Whisper. Bottom line: if I was to give a recommendation I would recommend for you to get the Candid app if you'd like an anonymous social media platform.
Groups are how you connect with people who share your interests.

2. Whisper to your group
3. If you don't find a group that you like, create your own Group.
4. Promote your Group. If you get enough people to join your group, we’ll feature it on the Discover page
