This range-finder(telemeter) measures the distance to a target by the camera perspective. The effective distance is 10m-1km. To measure the distance, you should know the height(width) of a target.
Don't worry!! Man's height is 1.7m(5.6ft), a golf flag is 7ft, a bus is 3.2m(10.5ft), a door is 2.1m(7ft). With that, we can guess the height(width) of almost everything.
If you know the airplane model, you can measure the height from the sky. For reference, Boeing 747's width is 72 meters.
Usage is simple. Input the height of the target, and touch the screen. If the target is aligned by 2 lines, get the measured distance.

Speed Gun's Usage is also easy. It can measure the speed of a moving object by touch (speedometer, velocimeter).
To measure the speed, input the closest distance to the target, and touch the screen following target. If yours is inaccurate, you can calibrate with the [Speed Calibration].

"AndroSensor Log Collector" is an addon for AndroSensor. It enables the LogView feature in AndroSensor.
To use, open AndroSensor, press MENU and select Logs.
LogView prints out the last ~150 lines of the device system log file, as in logcat.
It also provides and option to save the log in your external memory / SD card, or even mail it as an attachment to anyone you wish.
Saving or mailing the log will give you access to the full log file (usually more than 4K lines).
* The LogView requires READ_LOGS permission which is under "Personal Information" category. This is not looking to get your personal info. It's just that the read logs permission is in the general category of "Personal Information" permissions.
This patch contains the required permission and the code to show the log file in AndroSensor. It doesn't do anything if you don't have AndroSensor installed.

A simple toggle, which once activated automatically switches all incoming and outgoing calls to Speaker Mode.
To use, create a new PowerToggles widget and add Speaker Mode toggle under "Custom" tab.
Now with ICS, you really want to use this feature a lot.
Strangely, it is not possible to create a shortcut to this, android does not expose it as an activity.
Get to it quicker, a lot quicker, I would recommend using it with Widgetsoid as shown in the video.

This application turns your Android phone into a range finder, distance finder, and tape measure with no additional attachments needed. This application uses your device's camera to accurately calculate the distances of surrounding objects. This is a great golf range finder or distance measure for golf. The average golf flag is 7 feet tall. So input 7 feet for the height for a golf flag and then place measurement lines on the top and bottom of the flag for an accurate measurement of your distance from the flag :)
Before making your first measurement make sure to calibrate your device. The calibration take less than 10 seconds and is very easy. Nothing additional is needed, simply tap the two white dots on the screen and your device will be calibrated. The calibration is important for accuracy. You may need to adjust closer to either the top or bottom of the white circles for more accurate results. This will depend on what device you have. Though it it not necessary, verifying a proper calibration with a ruler or measuring stick will guarantee more accurate results every time for the lifetime of the application. Once a device is properly calibrated it is not necessary to re-calibrate.
Directions: (after calibrating)
1) Enter the objects height (tap the text box in the top right hand corner and input the height value via keyboard)
2) Adjust the units of measurement (tap the height drop down box located directly above the height input text box)
3) Line up the top and bottom lines with top and bottom of the object (tap the top of the object and slide finger until aligned)
4) Read the distance value :)

To get the distance to a target, you need to point the mobile to the target and press the button (1) while maintaining the target pointed during all the acquisition process. This gets the first angle. Then move about thirty meters in perpendicular to the target, point again to the target and press the acquisition button (2) (it is very important to keep the mobile steady while capturing and if necessary, use the buttons zoom (3) to better focus). Finally, at (4), the application displays the distance to the target calculated by the method of triangulation (two angles and lateral distance)

The application shows the angle (from 0 to 360 degrees) and the quadrant of the compass rose. The resolution is a tenth of a degree, but the error is usually greater than five degrees. It is worth to say that the accuracy of the orientation depends on how good the mobile sensor is, but we must also take into account the influence of external events of a temporary behavior (personal computers, fluorescent lights, metal, etc.) That spoils measurement. In addition, the sensor may need to be recalibrated magnetic, though usually come standard calibrated.
Is it necessary to calibrate the magnetic sensor?
To find out if you have to calibrate the sensor, put the phone on a flat surface where you can mark a line and point until it reads 0 degrees, rotate it 180 degrees (to match the stripe) and if the orientation indicator mark 180 degrees with an error of less than 5 degrees, the it is assumed that the North-South direction is acceptable. Do the same in the East-West direction, that is, 90-270 degrees. Repeat with the phone in landscape portrait mode (as if taking a photo) to the North-South and East-West. If the result is reasonably good, it is not worth to calibrate the sensor, else go to 'Settings'.

Stand as close as possible to ground and point the camera at the end of the rise or fall. The vertical tilt indicator will inform the percent slope.
The magnetometer indicates the absolute value of the magnetic field received by the mobile.
Storing locations and guiding function
If the GPS is on, the application lets you save the current location in a database with the 'Save the current position' menu option and that position can be retrieved at any time using the 'Choose destination position' menu option. Also, this option allows you to choose between editing the stored positions (modify / delete) or you can tell the application that guides you indicating the bearing and distance (with the 'Go there') to selected position. Once guidance feature is activated, the screen shows a red arrow around the center sight indicating the bearing to target and at the bottom of the screen shows the straight line distance to target.
With "My distance finder" you can figure it out! The app uses GPS to calculate the exact distance between the locations!
Of course finding distances is not the only thing this app can do. As it is a GPS tool it can also display the current Coordinates (even if GPS is not turned on), height and speed! You can also find out distances by clicking on two point on the map or entering addresses.
The battery usage is really low. You can exit the app end even switch of your phone while you are tracking a distance!
It is possible to change the location update interval. This means you can decide for yourself whether you want real time data or saver battery.
In addition, there is a function which makes it possible to constantly see how far you are away from your home.
