About this app

EDO is the first application that enables music artists and record labels throughout Slovenia to monitor the respect of their rights among music users (e.g. in restaurants, snack bars, bars, pastry shops, shops, hairdressing and beauty salons...).

Users of the application have access to the register of business facilities that have a license to use music from the IPF and are located near you while using the application. If the facility you are in is not on the list, with a few clicks you can report undeclared use of music to the IPF and thus contribute to respecting the rights of music artists and music labels.

Using the app is simple: first make sure that the venue is really playing any recorded music (not live music). After starting the application, check whether the name of the bar where you hear the music playing is in the list displayed on the screen of your mobile device.

The bar name IS on the list! Bingo! So you are in the right place, where you can continue to enjoy listening to legally played music.

The bar is NOT on the list? Hear music playing? Then select the option "The location is not on the list" and enter the name and type of bar. The location is obtained automatically, but you can edit it further. In the last step before submitting the information about the use of music, click on Photo to add a photo of the part of the bill where the information about the business entity and the bar where you are located is stated. Swipe the screen one last time and your contribution to respecting the rights of music artists and labels will be done.
