See the real-time location of participating groups on a map. Don't miss your favorite group and go cheer them on! With the official app approved by the Yamagata Hanagasa Association, both first-time visitors and seasoned veterans can enjoy the Hanagasa Festival even more.

The Yamagata Hanagasa Festival is one of Tohoku's leading summer festivals. Every August, a vibrant procession of Hanagasa dancers unfolds in the heart of Yamagata City. The chant of "Yassho, Makasho" and the melody of the Hanagasa Ondo fill the streets, creating a scene that is a quintessential summer tradition in Tohoku, attracting tourists from all over Japan.

Even first-time visitors to Yamagata can use this app for everything from venue guidance to navigation. Checking the schedule and group information in advance will help you navigate the crowded venue without getting lost. ■Main Features

・Live Map (Group Locations)
The current location of each group participating in the parade is displayed on the map in real time. You can also see your own location overlaid, so you can easily follow your favorite group even in a crowded venue. This is the core function of the app, allowing you to see at a glance where the Hanagasa Odori procession is currently located on the map. It can also be used as a venue guide and navigation tool on the day of the event.

・Popularity Vote
You can vote for your favorite group once a day during the event. Let's support your favorite group!

・Schedule
A list of each day's schedule, appearance times, and locations is displayed. Even if there are changes on the day, you will be immediately notified by push notifications. You won't lose track of the program even while traveling, and you can enjoy the event according to your plan.

・Group Directory & Memory Record
Profiles and photos of all participating groups are included. In addition to registering your favorites, you can also save your own photos and notes within the app. Compile your festival memories into an album as a memento of your trip.
