A Versatile Camera Application Over the years I have used Camera ZOOM FX on many phones. It has always been better than the stock camera. My only complaint is that there are so many wonderful features that I just don't have time to try. The use of Camera2 API and RAW in the new release add a great way to use this flexible application. The application authors have done a good job in keeping up with the new cellphones and their quirks. My photos are now stored on my SDCARD. Saves my limited main memory.
Used to love this app But sometime after one of the last few updates it no longer saves shared images at full resolution. I used to be able to share or import high res images from other programs or zip folders and they would import and save at the full resolution. Now when I import a photo into the app it resizes it immediately to 1024 max height, even though I have jpeg quality set 100%. E.g. I import an image that's 1988x3056 and upon importing it's resized without warning to 666x1024. This used to be the easiest way for me to extract, edit and save a single image from a zip folder and is one of the main reasons I paid for premium; now I have to use a much more complicated process with multiple steps, altogether bypassing camera zoom. If this is a new and permanent change I think it's quite a big mistake.
Unable SD storage S7 edge Something so simply as changing the storage destination is so unintuitive and in the end the app could not save in the SD card. Other free apps are more user friendly. I wasted my money.
No shutter speed control Not even the paid version allows for shutter speed on a LG G3. 👎
Ok, use to be better Used to be very good, now it's very laggy (Nexus 6)
Unwieldy Used to he good but latest update is difficult to use and to exit out of
