Harder than the first but compelling. Having paid for the app I should get dlc like the platinum purchasers? I bought prior to this. Update 22 June. Developer has done an update and now get message internal file issues. I uninstalled and and reinstalled but still won't work!!!!!!!! Update 23 June. Well done developers. Not only did you get it fixed but responded very promptly. Keep up the good work. Hoping no. 3 sometime in the future. Thank you.
Could be a great game, but spikes and more grind than strategy disappointed. Should also rework the interface (allow show grid, build paused, less clicks to upgrade, ...)
One of the best tower defense games out there, & I've played literally hundreds & have ludicrously high standards. More complex than the first, with a much greater emphasis on enemy type (live/magic/machine). New towers & enemies, but still has everything that made the first one great; great graphics, alchemy/runes, persistent upgrades, open maps, good number of enemies & towers, Sphere of Creation, enemy intelligence scaling with difficulty, awards that when earned permanently increase how much glory points you get, & the 'interactive' help menu with info on all enemies & towers. In addition to bringing all the above back from the first game, this game also has even better graphics, much longer & overall better campaigns, less waves in relationship to hardness (the main negative of the first, in my opinion, was the very large number of waves per game, especially in the higher hardness levels), & a number of minor UI improvements. Those improvements aside, I personally feel the first game was overall better. It had a more balanced selection of towers, as this game heavily emphasises enemy type, with too many towers only able to attack one enemy type (& yet no anti-magic towers, for some reason). Also, the last game has NO FROST MAGES, making it a better game by default. The Frost Mage ability to go through one tower puts a huge damper on things for me, forcing me to make short, thick mazes instead of the long, creative ones I like to make. Overall, it is still a great game, & still easily one of my favorites.
Best tower defense game on the market and I've tried a lot of them. Well worth the money for the paid version since it has so many levels and a random map generator.
Graphics are to busy for small cell phone screen. Can't zoom in far enough. Free Version doesn't allow enough gameplay to see if I want to pay $ for it. Prefer original game!
Too difficult from the start and it gets worst, forcing you to pay or grind for weeks before you really understand the game or what it offers. I'm sure it has run alot of people off before they get a chance to learn the game. But, with so many over-monetized freemium games and ridiculous developers with dollar signs in their eyes, everyone is a bit apprehensive about playing them and most ppl can spot a ripoff a mile away. This appears to be more of a money-grab than a fun game made for the enjoyment of gamers. Uninstalling! Thanks for allowing me to try it for free. I will be particularly happy when the freemium fad is finally gone and developers go back to creating premium content instead of premium ripoffs and tricks to get into people's pockets.
