This is the best, free, daily check-in app available. Perfect for functional adults living alone. It also, according to my research, is the best available in terms of maintaining personal privacy. Minimum amount of tracking and access to data and only for app functionality. Everything else available is either not very transparent with how data is shared or collects more data than is necessary. While I wish there was a way to turn off the quotes in settings, their GUI is simple and pleasant.

I rely on this app for the safety and monitoring of my elderly parent. I find it to be more useful than medical bracelets or necklaces because those are easy to forget to put on and require the person being conscious to request help. Recently my parent forgot to check in, and sure enough, a dispatcher called to verify safety. Customer service is great, as well. Fully recommend this service and it's premium dispatch service.

This works great for people who live alone. I recommend that you set your check-in time for an hour or two after you normally wake-up. It gives you time to check in in case you get busy and forget (like I do) and don't always have your phone near to get reminders. Also put the app on another device (computer/tablet) in case you misplace your phone (or a cat is laying on it).
