The test report may suggest changes to improve the proxy service experience for users on Android.
Available to devices running Android 5 Lollipop and newer. Some features are only available on Android 6 Marshmellow and newer.
Detects and tests proxy services available on the network through Web Proxy Auto-Configuration (WPAD) over DNS (DHCP discovery not supported), and warns if it conflicts with the device configuration. Tests WPAD service availability, downloads, and tests the proxy servers discovered in the Proxy Auto-Configuration (PAC) file.
Full support for testing HTTP and SOCKS5 proxies over IPv4 and IPv6, and SOCKS4 over IPv4. Can test multiple proxy servers when configured through a PAC that provides multiple fallback server options.
Running the app can also help the Android operating system select an alternative proxy server in cases of service outages in in multi-proxy setups; or select an alternative network in single-proxy setups.
