Great App! I love rain. This app allows me to listen to the sounds of rain any time and on any weather. It helps me relax. There is gentle, medium and pouring rain and you can choose the type of surface it falls on: none, wood, pavement, car roof and many more. I can fall asleep with it and not worry about my phone's battery because it has a timer that I can set and then it stops. Or I can set it for a few hours and study when my neighbours just won't keep quiet. Love this app!
Pretty good sounds, works fine.Basic but does job The recordings are pleasing, but you can hear loops on most of them which is distracting. The car roof one is comforting, but a low rumble (car?) I don't like in the background.Could do with some features as there is no real interface nor settings but nice effort for free.Volume on tracks needs to be standard, some way too loud ! (beware)
I want my iPhone app back :( This app has been a comforting sleeping companion for years on my iPhone... But then I got an android and the app barely functions at all. Can hear the seam on all the sounds. And "with distant thunder" isn't even included. That was my favorite. So disappointing.
Nice sounds & UI, but stutters... This app is very straightforward, simply designed, and wholly sensible. The large number of different rain types are wonderful. But the sound skips and stutters every 8-15 seconds making it unusable. Also, sound should fade in quickly at start and out slowly near end of timer. Existing on/off is jarring, not relaxing. Needs more refinement to be usable.
Incredibly disappointing especially when compared to the iOS version, even the free one. There are far fewer sounds available on the Android version and the interface is outdated. Wanted this app because my boyfriend has it on his iPhone and iPad, but was incredibly disappointed with what I got. Seems as if the developer abandoned this version of the app in favor of the iOS version, as the Android version hasn't been updated since 2011 and isn't on their website at all.
Used to be good I had this on my old iPhone and it ran flawless, absolutely no seam between loops. Now, it skips every 15 seconds. Way too jarring to relax to. If they fixed it, I'd pay for the app. Otherwise its pretty useless. Update - I tried this on a Nexus 7 as well and it runs seamlessly as it used to on my old phone. But it still won't run well on my RAZR. Oh well, I guess 50% is OK.
Fixed issue where setting timer will when sounds stopped, would play sounds again.
