Don't continue working for someone else if you're dissatisfied with your job. If you are willing to look for opportunity, you can open doors you thought were closed to you. Money, time, skills, and other obstacles or impediments you have convinced yourself exist, to becoming your own boss are illusions.
If you will be willing to look, you can find required investment levels that are less than the cost of a used car. If you have more grandiose plans without a grandiose budget, you can find lending, grants, and collateral where you didn't know it existed. If you are willing to search for the right match for you, you can find a business that generates passive income and can be run as a side hustle. You'll find franchisors who are willing to teach you all you need to know and have plans in place to help you overcome a lack of trade understanding.
So, yes, it may be easy to think entrepreneurship is beyond your grasp. There are so many barriers to entry, seemingly. Truthfully, though, if you are willing to look, you will surprise yourself at the number of possibilities that could be realistic opportunities for you. Opportunities that require no physical location, no or low overhead, and low commitments of time. So, if you really want to do it. You really want to make that change in your life, you have to stop looking at obstacles and start looking for opportunities.
And remember, so much of what you get out of life is about what you put into it.
