Status Downloader is a status download app for keeping the statuses you have already viewed. You watch a status, you like it, and a day later it's gone. This status-downloader holds on to a copy, so you can download status photos and download status videos straight to your gallery. Here's how it works. The first time you open the app, it asks you to point it at the folder where your chat app stores statuses. That's Android's own folder picker, so you choose the folder and the app gets read-only access to that one place. Nothing else on your phone is visible to it. After that, every status you've viewed appears in a grid. Tap any photo to see it full size. Play videos with sound. Hit save on the ones you want, and they land in your gallery like any other photo or video, ready to share, edit, or post as your own status later. -Status downloader has good design with separate sections for videos and images. At the bottom of video view and image view, there are few buttons to act. those are repost, share, download. press status repost button, it takes to the desired app and you can repost status there.
-When you press status download button, the image or video will be downloaded and saved locally on your phone. When you press status share button, the status will be shared via social media apps, or in other ways.
All available statuses are conveniently accessible in the ‘SAVED’ section. This lightweight tool is designed to capture contact statuses from WA App, WA Business. Depending on the app used to view a status, it is automatically organized into its respective folder.
