Sorry - only one star left - but installer is broken for latest SuperSU versions on Android 7.x/EMUI5.x. Rooting works fine and SuperSU recognizes BusyBox Pro but installation of binary and links fails. BusyBox Pro even suggests to install "systemless" (as in my case) so it sees SuperSU and v.v.. Modifying system through i.e. ES-Explorer works fine (adding files and directories, deleting, editing).
I don't need it, but I thought the developer should be supported. It certainly makes life more convenient. For me, it's worked perfectly: Samsung Galaxy TabPRO SM-T900 12.2" with Android 5.1.1 (rooted, of course).
I don't really need the features of the pro version but I've been using the free one for several years and i wanted to give the developer something for his work. It's a great app for root users making the installation of Busybox really easy
No longer actually works. Doesn't even show up in SuperSu like your other apps that require root. That of course means that apps that need BusyBox like Viper4Andriod will not work. Contacted the developer detailing the issue and got no response. UPDATE: After hours and hours of troubleshooting I've found the problem. It turns out that BusyBox is NOT compatible with some versions of SuperSu. SuperSu won't even see it. Some of those versions are 2.79 and 2.56. Download the 2.46 SuperSu zip and flash and apps like Viper4Android will come right up. There's your fix right there for all you thousands of folks having trouble downloading the Viper4Android driver. Don't know if you still need Selinux Permissive but I left it on anyway. Got no help whatsoever from the Dev and that is why I'm leaving it 1 star.
One of the classics. BusyBox is one of the original Android root applications. It has always worked well, been well thought out, and been an essential part of any Android rom. Great job Stephen for helping to bring this to Android and for helping to keep it updated!
SM-N910F. 5.1.1 Still nice one and most time fresh binary as Sainsbury's strawberry ;)
Updated Busybox to 1.26.2
