About this app

The multifunctional mobile application "Staritsky Holy Dormition Monastery" was developed by the Creative Association "Parsuna" (https://parsuna.ru/) at the request of the Foundation for the Revival of the Staritsky Holy Dormition Monastery.
It is both a travel guide and a user-configurable feed of news, monastery and city life events.
The monastery is located in the center of the ancient Russian town of Staritsa on the picturesque bank of the Volga. Its ancient history is closely intertwined with the history of Russia. In the section of the virtual museum, in addition to excursions around the city and the monastery, there is a virtual tour linked with geotags to the map: at any time you can determine your position and understand what places nearby you would like to see.
There is a detailed Orthodox calendar and a window for live broadcasts of services.
In the commemoration section, you can quickly submit and pay for notes.
