Ride-hailing made easy
Taxi hire at the touch of a button. To book a black cab, just confirm your location, select your destination, track your driver's arrival and then away you go.

Driver owned & operated
There?s no fat cats here. Taxiapp is run by drivers for drivers, with all the fare going into your cabbie's pocket. They also enjoy a profit share too.

Booking fee
Unlike other apps, our drivers get 100% of the fare on the meter. To enable us to do this, we do however charge our passengers a booking fee of �3.00 (inc vat).

Pre-book or hail now options
If you?ve got to get to the airport, to a meeting or just home after a night out, you can use Taxiapp to book a cab in advance. Or you can just e-hail whenever you?re ready.

Our drivers have to memorise 25,000 London roads to get The Knowledge, you just need to download Taxiapp to get wherever you need to go.

5 & 6 seaters
All licensed black cabs can take five or six passengers, so are perfect for groups. Or very spacious if you?re on your own.

Accessible to all
All Taxiapp cabs are wheelchair accessible and have hearing loops. Assistance dogs are also welcome.

Safety first approach
You can share your trip, so friends and family know you?re en-route and all drivers are fully vetted as part of being a licensed black taxi driver.

Ratings and reviews

My review is based on 1 use. The app let me down first time with "no taxis available" at 8am on a Thursday morning in central London. Went to a different app that offered London taxis and worked first time. I don't like the app asks you to tip BEFORE your journey to better guarantee you'll get a driver. It doesn't appear to allow multiple drop-off points.

The app is attractive, has accurate navigation, allows payment method saving and emergency contacts, but there's no button or way to save a profile photo. So although one can adjust the frame, there's no way to save any of them. I wasted too much time and it didn't work, so I have a male icon for my profile image, even though I'm a woman.

This is a pretty awful app, it's not really that intuitive, is very slow and is buggy (it keeps losing the destination once input and you press the 'reserve' button). To top it all off I booked two taxis to take my seriously movement impaired mother and return her later, both were confirmed but were cancelled at the last minute. We ended up having to get an Uber to our destination and I had to flag down a black cab to get home and we were late Avoid this app and TaxiApp.
