T-Check Haiti is a "fact-checking" platform, which will offer a new means of information disclosure, and whose primary use will be to allow users to check in a few clicks the information circulating in traditional media , like on social media.
T-Check Haiti is a way to effectively manage and present location points on a map using Google Maps. The system is also composed of:
• A clear and simple navigation system
• A regional or area of interest reporting system
• The ability to filter visible information in an advanced way
• Allow users to ask questions to verify or deny rumors
Founded in 2016, T-Check Haiti is the first Haitian fact-checker that aims to analyze the degree of reliability and accuracy of information circulating in Haiti, in order to verify if the facts are not instrumentalized, presented in a tendentious way in the purpose of serving partisan interests or concealing conflicts of interest.
