About this game

AbcDonjon is a crossword roguelite: solve clues to strike your enemies, descend the floors of a haunted dungeon and survive as long as you can.

In every fight, a grid stands between you and the creature. Each word you solve deals damage — the longer the word, the harder it hits. But every enemy has its own elemental strengths and weaknesses (water, fire, shadow, light…): pick your words shrewdly to exploit them.

• Enemies with distinct powers: some regenerate, some reflect your words back at you, some only fear the longest ones.
• Collect relics between floors and combine them: elemental damage, healing, shields, thorns… No two runs are alike.
• Level your relics up for ever stronger effects.

• Earn Ink every run and spend it in the Sanctuary.
• Four branches — Survival, Comfort, Power, Build — opened node by node to shape your playstyle.
• Talents are permanent: every defeat leaves you stronger.
