Great no nonsense app with a clean ui. It tells you the image required for your device which the other one I tried did not. 1 question though, the other app reported my phone (cubot quest lite) was A partition compatible only whilst this one says use the A/B ROM. Both apps say it's not seamless update compatible. Dev, could you shed any light on this discrepancy as I don't want to brick my device?

It's just a difference in how it's named. Your device needs an AB image. A new update is on the way to make this clearer.

Straight forward. Better than the one suggested by the tutorials, this one tells you point blank which version your device requires. Which might not be as hard as I make it seem, but with a Moto G6 XT1925-6, which has a SD450, a 64-bit processor, with 8 ARM Cortex A53 Cores. The ARM Cortex A53 uses the ARMv8-A 64-bit instruction set. All signs say to download the ARM64 version of ROM's, and the ARMv8-A version of APK's, but somehow the OS is 32-bit and ARMv7-A. Hopefully I got that right.

Indeed, the play store info says your device doesn't support v8a. Motorola did this for many phones, including G4 (which I own) but a custom vendor partition + kernel can remove the limitation. AFAIK they do it to reduce RAM usage, as a 32bit address space actually used a little less RAM
