This is the official app for the Hokkaido Marathon, which will be held in Sapporo, Hokkaido, on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

This year marks the 38th anniversary of the Hokkaido Marathon, Japan's only large-scale full marathon held in the summer.

The course incorporates popular tourist spots like Hokkaido University, the Red Brick Building (the former Hokkaido Government Office Building), and Odori Park in the heart of Sapporo. The 2022 event will include a portion of the marathon course from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where top athletes from around the world competed in the summer of 2021 (the finish is fully recreated!).

The time limit will be increased from five to six hours from the 2022 event, making it easier to run. The 2023 event will also introduce a "wave start," splitting the start into two separate starts, further enhancing the experience, aiming for a more participant-oriented event.

The app allows you to stay up-to-date on the latest event information.

In addition to entry information, we also plan to provide course and EXPO information, special offers, and coupons.

We will also provide useful information to volunteers and supporters (spectators/cheerers) other than participants and runners!
