⏩ What's the purpose of this app?

It's not exactly controversial that YOU NEED A ROUTINE. But it's hard to stick to your schedule when the endless entertainment of the internet is available at your fingertips. Lock my Phone kills that lure so you can concentrate on what's actually important.

While your device is locked you can still access the apps on your lockscreen, take phone calls and call emergency numbers (911 etc.) and emergency contacts (see below). If you unlock it during a lock period it will be locked again right away.

⏩ Three Main Features:

1. Recurring lock periods, for example to lock your phone every evening during the week after 10 pm.

2. One time lock periods for when you just want to concentrate for 45 minutes while studying.

3. Geocheck-Feature: Only lock your device if you are in a certain area. Helpful so your phone isn't locked while you're out with friends.

⏩ What's the difference between the free and the premium version?

You can only have one lock period in total on the free version, so you can either have 1 one time lock or 1 recurring lock period. You can have unlimited lock periods (of each type) in the premium version.

There are no ads in either version.

Ratings and reviews

Does what it says. Fully locks your phone without a "15 more min" option. When you try to unlock it the screen goes black again and it's a repeated cycle of that. It's been very helpful. The uninstall process is weird though. A great idea would be to allow the option to lock individual apps with the same manner. That way a person that uses there phone to work but has trouble staying off a certain app or something, they can lock that app and continue to use their phone in other aspects.

The app is really good, and I’m currently using the premium version. However, there’s no login feature — instead, it automatically detects the Google Play account used for the purchase. The issue arises when multiple Google accounts are signed in on my device. In that case, the app sometimes fails to recognize my premium subscription. To fix it, I have to remove the other Google accounts from my device, after which the premium access works correctly.

Does exactly what it says on the tin - temporarily bricks your phone. The killer feature is actually the optional $2.99 to unlock. The most brilliant monetization I've ever seen. I leave it on because it gives me peace of mind from worrying if anything really important were to come up. But if you pay once you can disable it if you don't like the option.
