It's a useful app for what its designed for. Itd be even better if there was a paid version (at least I'm not aware of one yet) or a way to remove the ads. The annoying ads really suck the usefulness out of it sometimes. Especially when you pick up your phone to pause a show and the app launches a popup ad and you have to wait so you grab the regular remote while the ad plays. I've also noticed it has an very aggravating habit of launching a widget remote in my notification area out of the blue. So far I haven't found a way to disable the app from doing so and it bugs the hell out of me. So, fix the notification issue and offer an ad-free option and this app would be worth 10/5 stars. Right now, it gets 3.5.
Works with all my tvs an Blu-ray players
Works on most of my devices.
Used this app for controlling various TV sets and boxes but the app has become to big a drain on the battery now.. it seems to always have notifications and ads popping up from it. Also since last update now every time my phone is plugged into charge it has pop up telling me I may miss calls due to phone being on silent this is very irritating especially as my calls are none of the peel apps business! This notification also overrides my lock screen effecting my phone security.
Getting full screen ads outside of the app. I don't remember installing this but uninstalling immediately. Edit: cool as update, can't uninstall. Going to get a new phone soon anyway. Screw you Samsung and Peel.
If you're thinking of installing this, stop. I know my phone is on silent: I put it there. Why would I need or want a remote control app to tell me that? Why are you serving me ads I've never agreed to see? Why do you keep starting even when I force stop you? I don't want you, but I'm forced to have you. This is bloatware, pure and simple. Stay away from it.
