This app is great! Im HOOKED to the stories, and formating the stories into text chats is genius, it gives it a real life feel. I just wish that on some stories I could see the images without having to pay. P.S. whoever reads this heres a little cheatncheat...Once you run out of hoots, instead of waitimg, go to settings, date and time, and change the time to an hour ahead, or however long you need to wait

I would rather not have to pay for everything. I mean. I know its how you fund the app and everything. But to look at images. Really? And they cost a lot in my opinion. To help this a little just dumb down the recharge time to like. 10 or fifteen minutes. Besides this. I think its a veryokay story app. Some of the stories are very interesting and others are slightly boring. All in all. Its a 2/5 star app. Just change the prices and recharge time and in my opinion it would be a bit better.

Stop charging for everything. I get that all apps need funding and whatever but you've done it to the point of it not being worth the time. Just having a hoot limiter would be fine. The same goes for just having to pay a low monthly fee however both is a no go. All in all, I love the concept but paying for a text app just isn't worth it for most people.

It think the stories are great. They have wonderful plot twists to surprise readers. One thing I don't like is the fact that we have to pay to see images. And making it so we must wait to read the next part of the story isn't my favorite thing, but all in all its great!

This app has lots of potential and is unique. But you guys have ruined it. What gave you guys the idea to make it so you have to pay to not miss parts of the story and pay to finish the story. This app would be great, but I don't want to pay money to read "scary" (actually cliché) stories that I can just read for free over on Wattpad.

Installed and uninstalled within two minutes. I'm no stranger to apps that charge per story, but this is honestly the worst one I've encountered. Most apps will give you the first story or chapter for free, but this one makes you either pay or wait 50 minutes to finish the FIRST story! Luckily, the story wasn't interesting enough to bother with.

Its very addicting but you run out of hoots and it has to recharge. (Let us finish a story or two before we have to waitbfor hoots.) Its rediculous that you have to pay just to get more hoots or wait 40-50 minutes to get more. Also its stupid that you have to pay to see the pictures. And the 7-day-trial thing, is suspicious that you have to put in credit card or paypal. You should be able to press 7-day-trial and you have it until the seven days.

It's subscription based and they give you "part" of the story, but you have to pay to get the rest. Woulda been cool if they'd mentioned that when advertising the app. I don't like people or businesses that have to try to trick you into spending money. If you want money, tell me about your product or service and be upfront with the cost. Dishonesty is an extreme turnoff!

Its like the first bite of out sweet and spicy chicken once you start you can't stop. Although i do hate the fact that you have to pay for some of this i am tired of getting hooked and then waiting an half hour or more to finish it. This app is great if you're willing to pay money or if you have patience.

I don't know how I feel about the subs, but if it keeps this content flowing on regular basis than I'm more than happy to pay. As of this review, I've only read the first story so I don't know how many stories there are. Also, the picture quality is very poor. I get that it helps with telling the narrative, but some photos are an undiscernable blur of color. Other than, theses stories are amazing!

First of all , You keep charging us with everything.I know apps need funding, But for pictures! There are a lot of apps like this. But this may be the worst one. I dont even believe the high rating you get. Not only that, we have to wait a ridiculous amount of time.

DON'T BUY THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO THROW AWAY! This app is a ripoff; you can't view images unless you pay a subscription, you have limited "hoots" unless you pay got a subscription, and it looks like you can't pick the story you want to read. I would give it a one star rating, but the story I'm reading is good so I'm giving out one extra star.

I think that the stories shouldn't have to recharge in order to see the text I don't think the pictures should be blurred as well. Its a great story telling app but it just take to long to recharge to read the rest it should atleast recharge in 5-10 minutes. Overall its an ok app not sure if ill keep it or uninstall it.😞

The concept of "Hooked" is interesting, but it could have been brought out a lot better. Right now, it's a bit boring and there's little to no interaction. The texting vibe of the story is completely ruined by simply touching a button to get a small blurb of text. Subscribing for the pictures and other stories is not worth it either, they aren't all that good and add little to to the story plus the payment is a definite ripoff. If you want an app that tells stories with text, download "Seen" and you'll be able to create and read other people's texting stories by actually 'typing,' something this app should have. Again, nice idea but it could've been done a lot more interestingly.

good i like the stories yet the wait...it sucks we want to see pictures and not need to pay cant even have a free 7 day trial without a card # and sometimes it resets my stories....i was at ch7 of a 40 chapter story and it reset itself so now i need to re wait for the hoots again to get close to where i was... let us read a story or 2 a day...add the free pics and fix the fact it wont save stories and 5 stars all the way

I have to addmit... this app is the most addicting thing ever. I secretly play it in class and it's awesome. The only downfall that I with they would fix is so don't have to pay to see the pictures and also that you didn't have to wait 45 minutes to see the next set of the story. Great review over all

What a joke. The people writting the reviews must be paid to do so. Look people its a scam. They get you "hooked" on the story...I'll give them that but then to see the ending you have to buy a membership. Ha what a joke. Dont fall for it

Money hungry!! So as soon as you launch the app, you get put into a story. You get through a few lines, then a picture is shown. HOWEVER, you cannot view the picture without paying first. So I skip viewing the picture and continue with the story. Another picture is shown. Again, cannot view it. At this point, the story no longer makes sense since you NEED to see the pictures. I'm definitely uninstalling.

Stupid. ... the stories are good but it isn't worth it. I have adhd and short term memory loss. How am I supposed to remember a story after having to wait 48 minutes? Super money hungry. At least let us read like two stories a day, then I'll think it's worthwile

Cool concept but it's rather expensive to have the whole experience and to enjoy it to it's full extent. The free experience doesn't allow you to view images which puts a damper on my overall enjoyment of the stories. Takes away from immersion and looks and acts like a money ploy.

Waist of time. Sure the story is okay but seriously i have to pay to see a picture im not even going to remember in 5 minutes. The reviews are bs. I just wanna know why you have to pay to read and view pictures?

Catchy hooks, and the follow up stories are okay I guess, if the writers know how to write with this medium. The app itself is clunky and confusing. When you first use it, it throws you directly into a story. No "Hello, here's how this works" or easy to follow home screen. It's hard to find the only menu they have (which is only genre lists and the FAQ), and the FAQ hasn't been updated since this app was iOS exclusive. So if you have a question and you're not on an iPhone, tough luck I guess. My advice to the devs? Construct a home/menu screen and update the FAQ.

I've read the first 3 stories and I feel as though this app were meant for teenagers. I thought the idea was cool and I tried the 7 day free trial for the pictures and what not, but the pictures were unclear and just vague blurs of what was happening, I don't want to pay for that. Not to mention after I finished that story, the other two didn't have any pictures! Also the stories were really predictable for me. So I unsubscribed and I will be deleting the app.

I like it but the running out of hoots is pretty terrible , like when im in the middle of a story it says im out and I have to wait 40 minutes. So if you do something about it I would love it more

So amazing I love reading this, especially when there is a lot of suspense and you can't read and click next fast enough. And even though some say that It sucks running out of hoots (the amount of times you read the messages) I think it makes more suspense and keeps you reading.

They are great short story's! If you like thriller, and horror story's then you will like this app just like I do! But it has a limited amount of them. So that's a bummer, but they are good! Oh also they give you a limited amount of texts, and when you run out they make you wait 30 min to get more.

Garbage app that makes you pay for your "free" trial. Also doesn't seem like it would be worth paying for if you know how to read creepypasta. This is a teenage girls version of Reddit. The stories aren't even gripping or well thought out. It's the same premise in every single one I saw.

I read several of the stories by using the free trial and canceling the subscription so I got a week of unlimited hoots or whatever it's called. The stories all kind of suck, and I read at least 3 stories where a white person is physically attracted to a black person and the other protagonists heartily disapprove. Odd theme, no? Maybe it was just those three, but as I was picking stories at random and managed to stumble upon 3 in a row... Well, you tell me.

Awesome app and I love how they are in text form, but I really wish the wait times were shorter. The farther you get along it seems like 3 lines and then it stops. I really like that about it but as a person with anxiety it's really frustrating and panicky when I have to wait. But 8/10 would reccomend!!!

Come on now, soooo greedy for $ that the app pulls crap on the very first story??? Cheap! Really if you want to get people hooked on your app you're gonna have to at least let people get through the first one or two stories before you start up with the $$$. If you could just let people get through one or two stories then I'm sure that they'd be more than hooked on your app and would be more than willing to pay for more. Till then I'm removing the app. Other than that it seems interesting just not enough bait to get hooked on wanting to pay for more.

Without photos, doesn't make much sense. And the 4t mibute wait is annoying. Some people would just like to read their story without being asked for money

I really love this app! The stories are great and that they're told text style makes them even better. I highly recommend 'Hooked' to every body as I'm 'Hooked' on it now! A great stress buster and way to pass the time, too.

It has great stories but you have to pay to look at the pictures and pay to speed up time. This app is all about talking your money why not charge to download the app instead of charging to view pictures and speed up time. THE WORST APP I HAVE EVER BEEN ON IN MY LIFE!!!

I wanted to like this app, I really did but of course they make you pay to see pictures! This is the exact opposite of hooked! The stories are boring and above all they make you wait to read the rest of the story

I like this app because some stories are accualy not so scarry so i dont get too scared. Its pretty good exept it always stops in the middle of the storie tells you to wait two minutes than after reading 2 more messages it makes you wait about 50 minutes.

I love,love,love the stories but paying for the hoots are kinda bogus because when it gets to the good parts u run outta hoots and i dnt wanna have to keep buyin them i didnt even get the first ones i payed for anyway. Its just bogus

I like the idea of the story being told through a series of text messages. It doesn't seem like the best way to tell it sometimes but it works really well. I like the feeling of looking into someone else's messages. It's like you're reading a story never meant to be told.

I was "hooked" so to day but i wish you didnt have to buy subscriptions to veiw images and i also didnt like having to wait half an hour to continue the story. If this things were done away with this app would be great.

I luv the stories but after like 15 texts it says that your out of hoots and that you have to either wait or sign up for more and pay each month. Frustrating....
