Saved my old Bose Headphones My Galaxy S7 did not register the volume keys on my Bose headphones, this app allowed me to get near full functionality using a single button. Easy to use app too.
This app does not allow me to set "+ answer call/end call" settings for Single Click (using stock headset that came with my Samsung Galaxy S6). Any changes are ignored by the phone and single click continues to end calls.
Love the app and it works great but I wish it would support multiple profiles so that targeted media players could be controlled upon switching to them. This could be done though a plug-in in the Tasker automation program. Otherwise, it works great. It understands my headset button clicks very accurately so I will continue to use it but unfortunately, I have to open the app and switch control between my Power Amp Media player and my Podcast media player.
Should be in stock android by default Supports all the combinations of button presses you could imagine so that you don't have to pull out your mobile and unlock it every time.
problem Headset droid will mess with volume for some reason. It'll just turn it up and won't stop. Currently on a gpe lollipop ROM for HTC one m8. The bug is still present after the update for lollipop support. i managed to stop it by using app ops to disable media volume control.
Lollipop update doesn't work with Bluetooth Headset I've used this app for years and it's worked beautifully. Now my Galaxy Note 3 on Lollipop no longer works with my LG Tone headset. If I plug headphones in with a clicker all of the commands show up in headset monitor, but with the bluetooth headphones they don't. Checking for Conflicts reveals nothing.
* Fixed issue with headset clicks not being detected on some Android ROMs
