Simply Excellent! I have it installed on my rooted ASUS MeMO Pad Smart 10 ME301T Tablet. It simply offers me my three most-used termination activities as I have no need for superfluous selections such as boot-recovery or bootloader actions. Now I will no longer mistakenly boot into recovery mode which I can only recover from via a hidden recessed pin-hole reset switch, which is a total pain. I also admire how the interface is not a full-screen and garishly overwhelming smartphone-targeted gui. Well thought out, indeed. THANK YOU!!!!! ;-D
Good app working perfectly I hope this app improve their interface though, but overall its working perfectly people who hate this app maybe didnt understand words "root needed!" In description above lol
GREAT APP: TOSHIBA THRIVE: 5 STARS!!! ROOT REQUIRED: READ COMPLETE REVIEW BEFORE UNINSTALL Reboot Control App!!! The APP WORKS GREAT on my Toshiba Thrive tablet and DOES EVERYTHING its supposed to do.... If you bad reviewers would just TAKE SOME TIME to READ THE ENTIRE APP DESCRIPTION, BEFORE calling it junk or garbage and can't uninstall and giving it a bad review, IT TELLS YOU what to do to UNINSTALL the APP under the NOTICE if you SCROLL DOWN a bit. That's what its there for if you JUST TAKE the TIME to READ... But if you insist on the uninstall, CONTINUE READING: COMPLETE UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS BELOW: (if need be) BEFORE UNINSTALL: GoTo: Settings > Loc & Sec > Device Admin: Select or uncheck or disable the REBOOT CONTROL app. THEN TO UNINSTALL: GoTo: Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > Reboot Control: and Clear Cache (if any), Clear Data (if any),Force Close the app, THEN UNINSTALL it... IT WILL UNINSTALL then... Duh! I'm not the app developer but I always read app descriptions, that's what its there for...
Quirky on Marshmallow Full version worked perfectly for years until I upgraded to Android 6. Now only shutdowns on second attempt. Suspect problem in SU interface.
Cannot uninstall and totally useless And it's annoying. Crappy app.
Excellent app Kudos to the developers of RC. Having read the same unfavourable reviews by several users, I decided to test it. The app can certainly perform all three functions. And, since I'm using TB Pro, I used TBP to backup RC and uninstall it (to bypass the manual changes). After phone restart, RC disappeared. Then I used TBP to reinstall it (app + data) and its working fine again. RC needs superuser permission, so, I think users who had problems may have installed RC on UNROOTED phones.
Simulates a reboot and thus frees up memory - your phone will be much snappier!
