It seems to crash anytime after capsule openings or after clearing a stage. And if you're unlucky, it will keep crashing in the middle of a stage. But it's pretty much a base model X game, so of course it's fun and it works. Just wish you weren't constantly locked into a tutorial. Tutorials weren't necessary in the first games, or in the X series, it certainly doesn't enhance the experience now. I love Rico as a character, but with this much hand holding, she's like an overbearing mom.

For the little bit that I did play, Mega Man X Dive is very enjoyable. I like the satisfying controls, the gameplay, and how much fanservice and nostalgia that is packed into the game. However, my game crashed during the 2nd level. I now open the app, get to the title screen and press start, says it is connecting, but it will not start at all. It would be much appreciated if this could be fixed, then I will update my review.

Very interesting take on remixing the X series of games. Touch controls never seemed to be a draw back as most issues were seemingly considered in advance and planned around. The method of unlocking new characters and equipment is tedious at times and a bit confusing to start but once you get into it the whole thing works well enough. It could be better, but it is by and far the best offering for a freemimum action platformer I have played.
