Claw Machine puts a whole cabinet in your pocket. Every level loads fifteen different prizes into the machine — no two the same, and nothing is added back once you have won one. Work the stick, press the red button, and the claw goes down. It does not always hold on: the grip is checked three times on the way to the chute, so where you lose a prize is part of the game rather than a coin flip. The clock tightens and the grip loosens level by level, and from level twenty it wants five of them inside a minute. From level eight the floor itself starts turning. What you win stands on the shelf across the front of the machine, and your best score goes to a Google Play Games world ranking. Sixteen languages, and a small download: the cabinet, the music and every sound are made by the app rather than shipped with it.
