Review from A Google User
Good but... Would be great except for the fact that it will only open my iGo but not insert the address like used to happen in my older HTC phone.
HTC One S - Sense 4+ - Android 4.1.1 ... It Works Great hack. Does exactly what it sets out to do. No more HTC Locations when I click on an address from Calendar. First time, select 'Use other...', from that point on it always clicks to Google Maps. Ad appears on first Google Map, but disappears once you start getting directions. Small price to pay for making my life easier (and I don't begrudge any FOC app writer the chance to make a few cents).
Wonderful app! This completely solved my problem. Download and let the app install, open locations on your contacts/calendar or whatever, let locations run, enable GPS, and when they ask for purchase of license, click cancel. Remarkably, unlike what you would expect, Locations does not come back at you again. Google maps is restored and your speaker phone also doesn't get turned on automatically when calling or receiving calls. This app really puts the Sense back into HTC Sense! Thanks a lot! :) Note: You won't find any icon in your apps list regarding this app. You don't need it either
Perfect on Evo 3D I'm very happy with this simple, free and asking for no permissions app. This takes me to the old days when users solved problems they faced and gave their work away for free. Thank you developer.
HTC locations app Sucks Brilliant app, thanks for doing this. Google maps rocks! HTC used to be quietly brilliant now they're too big headed.
Excellent fix for HTC silliness. This was a major gripe after upgrading from the Desire; I work in a phone shop and being unable to clearly display how well Google Maps integrated with Android probably cost HTC some trade. Now sorted.
Excellent Started getting that anoying notice on my Desire HD recently and thought it was spam as it never once said what it belonged to. This app took care of it as that notice would not go away and uninstalled all navigation maps that wasn't Google Maps.
