A standalone app that offers beautiful weather widgets inspired by Pixel weather widget design with all of the modern styles in high quality and beautiful fully customizable design.

The app is easy to use, light, and does not necessarily need location permission since besides its geo-positioning function to automatically detect the location, it also has the option to search for the city manually and it is battery friendly with no noticeable RAM or storage usage!

Pixel Weather Widgets app retrieves its weather data from the openweathermap.org which is a very accurate weather provider. The app gets the current temperature and current humidity in a variety of different widgets.

Ratings and reviews

The widgets look great, and updates current weather, but does not follow my location. Even when I have notifications turned on in the app, and follow my location enabled. At the system level, Android said notifications are blocked, with no way to unblock them, so I don't think this app is set up to request the correct permissions from the OS.

it's good. BUG When it's in Celsius the wind speed is in m/s vs km/h and some of the widgets don't fit well on my s25, info gets cut off. Over all I like it better then Weather Network, Weather Channel, AccuWeather all the big ones need to take notes from this one.

I've been using this app for years with mixed results BUT I have to say the update they released in April 2026 is a game changer . Customization is way better and at least so far the widget seems to be automatically updating properly which is something a lot of weather widgets seem to struggle with . Anyway so far so good. Will update this review if anything changes
