Simplest and most intuitive Seems like the easiest of the screen orientation apps to use. Has the different basic options as well as adaptive mode which will only rotate after turning the phone if you click the automated prompt. Also if I just want autorotate, I can just turn on my phone's rotation to bypass the adaptive mode.
Doesn't Work Well On Galaxy SII When I initially installed this app, I was very impressed. However, after a couple days of use I started to have problems with my screen not responding to my touch. Since my Galaxy SII has seen a lot of usage, I initially thought there was an issue with the phone. However, if I turned this software off, the screen again responded properly. I've done several tests and am pretty confident that the issue is with the software. :( So, my search for a rotation app continues.
Essential Utility Does what it says. Nice utility. One problem, disabling it does not return my device to original settings. Example: device settings are set to "auto-rotate". Disabling this app however causes the phone to continue using portrait mode in Chrome (and other apps), even when it would normally rotate to landscape. (Android 5.0.1 lollipop). I'd give 4 stars if this was fixed.
Extraordinarily well thought out app but no updates these days. Hard to not appreciate the simplicity/elegance/hard-work @this price & even size. Truely a great interface, well thought out & kept really simple. I cant help raving about it. Every person who has a phone with auto-rotate trying to use the same while lying down would've come across what a pain auto-rotate represents & what an elegant solution your app presents. After you see this, it makes you wonder why dint anyone think of this before?
Amazing! This app works perfectly. I love it! The top of my screen is broken and doesn't respond to touch meaning that certain apps don't work fully. Now I can rotate the screen and the apps flip so I can use them. This has allowed me to use my phone properly again. Thanks!
Just perfect One of my favorite apps. Works perfectly, unobtrusive... keeps me from chucking the phone because of constantly rotating when I didnt want it to... no issues at all.. no ads or any other crap either.... and I love where the button appears but I guess for some people it needs to be adjustable. . Not me tho.. works great!
In Jelly Bean, the stock gallery which is part of the camera app can be auto rotated
