Disabled trial version.... I might have bought this if I could have tested the per app feature. Since the dev insists on making that a "donate only" feature, I could not test it to decide if this app did what I wanted. DEV: Here's a clue - When you offer a TRIAL make everything work for a limited time period. That's kinda the whole idea with a trial. DOY.
Use your device upside down! Great for inverse portrait on the s4,so you can use the device upside down. Not perfect because option "lock screen on portrait" is not working, and sometimes my lock screen ends up on landscape, making it hard to pin unlock it. There should be an option to avoid rotating the home screen.
Works well when its not shutting on and off I may be the only one or the only one that pays attention, but the app after running for a extended period of time seems to cut on and off. In the process messing with other apps as well as not performing its function. I have uninstalled and reinstalled yet the problem persists. Other than that very annoying bug when the app works it does what it claims.
Great App Seems to work for the most part, although the 4.3 update seems to have made it a little bit faulty because sometimes the landscape lock mode sometimes comes undone for a few seconds, but not long enough to interfere with anything.
Essential Utility Does what it says. Nice utility. One problem, disabling it does not return my device to original settings. Example: device settings are set to "auto-rotate". Disabling this app however causes the phone to continue using portrait mode in Chrome (and other apps), even when it would normally rotate to landscape. (Android 5.0.1 lollipop). I'd give 4 stars if this was fixed.
Awesome App This app is awesome, I really wouldn't wanna miss it. The only problem is the placement of the click to rotate button. Many other apps on the phone use the middle of the screen for important functions: I often accidentally rotate the screen when I just want to turn the alarm off for example, which is quiet annoying. As an app that functions as an overlay for all other apps on the phone it really should have an option to move the click to rotate button to some different part of the screen (lower right corner for example). Apart from this little gripe I think this app is recommended.
In Jelly Bean, the stock gallery which is part of the camera app can be auto rotated
